Bieber Fever Hits the Fair Sept. 3!
Singer Justin Bieber, who went from YouTube phenom to platinum selling recording artist virtually overnight, is bringing his first national tour as a headliner to the Champlain Valley Fair. Bieber, with special guest Sean Kingston, will appear on the Comcast Stage in the Coca Cola Grandstand at the Champlain Valley Fair on Friday, Sept. 3 at 7 pm. Bieber’s My World Tour marks the release of his My World 2.0 album. A new web site, www.bieberfever.com, provides more background on Justin and offers special tour package information.
Tickets for the Justin Bieber My World Tour show at the Champlain Valley Fair will go on sale to the public through Flynntix on Friday, March 26 at 10 AM. Tickets will be available in person at the Flynn Theater Box Office at 153 Main Street in Burlington, online at www.flynntix.org, over the phone at 802-86FLYNN (863-5966) and at the Flynn Ticket outlet at Copy Ship Fax Plus on Pearl Street in Essex Junction. at the WOKO Country Club Music Festival Aug. 29!
The WOKO Country Club Music Festival has brought top country entertainers to the area for a day of music, food, and fun for more than ten years. For 2010, the festival moves to the Champlain Valley Fair on Sunday, August 29. The WOKO Country Club Music Festival stars Rodney Atkins, with special guests Aaron Tippin, Love and Theft, and Gwen Sebastian. Atkins scored a major hit with his platinum-selling “If You’re Going Through Hell” album in 2006, with four number one songs. Since his 2003 debut album, “Honesty”, scored a top-five hit song, Atkins has been touring and recording virtually nonstop. His latest project, “It’s America,” continues to build his fan base. Tippin, who has been a hit on the country scene since the early 1990’s, has had his share of gold and platinum albums as well. His songwriting skills have earned him the admiration of other stars, including Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks and Charlie Pride, who have recorded his work. Newcomers Gwen Sebastian and Love and Theft bring energy, personality and a different perspective to the country music scene.
As in past years, Festival seating will be General Admission, with blankets, lawn and beach chairs permitted. Gates will open at 10 am and the show is scheduled to start at 1 pm. The entertainers will perform throughout the afternoon on the Comcast Stage in the Coca Cola Grandstand. Fans who buy their tickets in advance also receive freegate admission to the Champlain Valley Fair, and may come and go between the Fair and the Festival as they wish.
