The Champlain Valley Exposition, Champlain Valley Fair and the International Association of Fairs and Expositions are pleased to present the 2011 Read & Win summer reading program to encourage elementary and middle school-age children (K-8) to read three or more books this summer between June 20 and August 12.
Education is a key element of our mission and we believe a great way to reward a young person’s summer reading is with a special free day at the Champlain Valley Fair on Kid's Day, Monday, August 29.

Last year, more than 3,200 students signed up at 52 public libraries in Vermont. Several hundred children attended the special recognition ceremony on Kid’s Day with their parents and friends, and then enjoyed visiting all the attractions at the Fair.
A special 12:15 pm ceremony is planned for this year in the Circus Big Top on the midway to honor the successful participants and their families. Curly the Cow, the official mascot of the Champlain Valley Fair, will be there, along with other special treats.
