WOKO & CVE Flea Market General Information and rules


Vendor Set-up time on Sunday from 6:30 – 8 am.
Flea Market Hours: 8:30 am – 2 pm

Remember you are not allowed to close your area down before 2 p.m.

Check-in: Please check in before setting up. When you check in on Sunday you will receive a pass for the show so that you can come and go during the day. Each single table will be allowed two wrist bands, you may get an additional wrist band for each additional table or purchase additional wrist bands for $1 each, you are responsible for getting the bands to your helpers. CVE reserves the right to limit the number of people behind tables at any one time.

Parking: You may bring your car close to the entrance to unload. Please unload your vehicle as quickly as possible and move it so other vendors can load in also. All vehicles must be moved away from the building by 8 a.m. on the day of the show. There will be a designated parking area for vendors. Any car blocking a fire lane will be towed.

Food Concessions: There will be food and beverages available at the snack bar
between 7 am and 2 p.m.

WOKO Flea Market Rules

Pre-Registration ($30 per- table) will be accepted up to 10-days prior to each event, after that the full rate will be charged ($35 per table). It is important that you get your payment in early, as there will be no exceptions. Tables will be $35 if you have not prepaid and if available.

Set-up: You must be set-up and the area around your table cleaned up by 8 a.m. You may store items directly under your table. Nothing can be sticking out.

THERE WILL BE NO SELLING ALLOWED BEFORE 8:30 A.M. If you pre-sell you will not be invited back to the Flea Market. Items not accepted: Firearms, Juried Craft Items, No pets allowed; NO EXCEPTIONS.
No food should be sold for consumption in the building, bulk products are ok. All items must be legal and lawful.

No doors other then the front should be used during the event. You must have your vendor bracelet on to return to the show.

Early Closing: You are not allowed to close your table or booth before 2 p.m. DUE TO LIABILITY ISSUES, IF YOU CLOSE EARLY YOU WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK TO THE FLEA MARKET.

Clean-up: All trash and unsold items must be packed up and removed by 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Sales Tax: Anyone who sells taxable items in VT must obtain a license from the VT Dept of Taxes and collect and remit the tax. This requirement applies for all sales even if the sales are for one day or regularly throughout the year. There is no fee for the license. The sales tax number can be obtained by calling the VT Dept of Taxes, 802 828-2551.

Note: Vermont sales tax law exempts a casual sale. A casual sale is a one-time or occasional sale of property acquired by the owner for personal use and the owner does not regularly sell that type of property. Example: A homeowner selling clothes or toys outgrown by his or her children at a garage sale or a flea market is a casual sale and exempt.

Directions to the Champlain Valley Exposition:
From Points East: I-89 northbound to Exit 12. Take Route 2A north approximately 4 miles to Essex Junction. Go west on Route 15 (1/2 mile) to Exposition entrance Gate B.
From Points North: Take I-89 southbound to exit 17. Take Route 2 to Route 2A to Route 15. Take Route 15 west to Gate B of the Exposition.
From Southwest: North on Route 7 to I-89. Take I-89 northbound to Exit 15. Go 4 miles east on Route 15 to Gate B of the Exposition.
