2009 Vermont Flower Show
March 6, 7, 8

An enthusiastic crowd of approximately 10,000 came in search of a taste of springtime at the 2009 Vermont Flower Show. This year’s theme, "Child's Play," gave designers and landscapers a creative environment in which to display their mastery of the sculpted landscape.

Treehouses, fairy villages, even Peter Rabbit’s garden featured prominently in this year’s spotlight displays. For those wishing to learn the science behind the art of growing, dozens of workshops and seminars provided a wide range of perspectives on gardening. Vendors and exhibitors saw a steady stream of those looking to add to their gardening and landscaping abilities throughout the weekend.
In contrast to several flower shows around the country, the Vermont Flower Show was brimming with activity. Presented by Greenworks, the Vermont Flower Show looks forward to another creative and successful program in 2011.
