Outdoor Adventures Under The Big Top

in "Wilderness Wonders"

The Circus is Here!

For “kids” of all ages, it really is possible to run away to the circus without leaving your hometown! The show is full of exuberant talent and dazzling spectacle, with aerials, acrobatics, high wire, juggling, trapeze, clowning, live music and an array of brilliant costumes. This year’s tour continues the tradition of theme-based shows with a fun-filled celebration of the great outdoors in Wilderness Wonders.

Over majestic mountains and across racing rivers, daring

adventures await in a forest of fun. Grab your backpack, set your

compass and join the intrepid Smirkus Scouts in celebrating the

Great Outdoors, circus-style! Hike the wilderness alongside Trailblazing Tumblers, soar with Alpine Aerialists, and trek among the trees with Juggling Lumberjacks. Explore the peaks and valleys of a fantastically fabulous four-season spectacle, as Circus Smirkus spotlights the marvels of nature with merrymaking, mirth and a touch of magic.

The summer Circus Smirkus Big Top Tour showcases the best young talent, ages 10 to 18, in the Circus Arts today, selected by audition to share the ring with professional circus artists. Backed by coaches, cooks, crew, and musicians, the Troupers perform to sell-out crowds in a 750-seat European-style one-ring Big Top tent. Every year, organizers choose a new storyline and develop an original full-length show that combines the best of traditional and contemporary circus styles. It's a complete immersion in circus life, including rigorous training, daily chores, loading in and loading out the Big Top, and performing in over 70 shows in 14 towns in just seven weeks.
